TTAutoGuide had the pleasure of checking out the all new Ford Fusion at the ANSA Motors Ford Showroom recently and I must admit, I like what Ford has done here. The Ford Fusion Ecoboost is available in two trim levels, the well equipped SE and fully loaded Titanium. Today we are checking out the fully loaded Titanium model. Both come standard with 7 airbags and are backed by a 5 star safety rating and 5 years or 100,000km warranty.
The new Ford Fusion Ecoboost is available in 10 different colours and has a sleek new updated exterior design that sports a newly designed chrome front grill up front and new LED tail lamps out back. Standard equipment for both models includes the 1.5L inline 4 cylinder Ecoboost engine pumping out 160hp thanks to some trick turbo tech. The power is put down via a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic transmission and electronically assisted power steering (EPAS). Other trick driving features include anti-locking braking systems (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), roll stability control (RSC) and hill start assist all of which also come standard. The SE model comes with 16 alloys while the Titanium comes with 17″ alloy wheels.
The refined interior is fully powered and packed with features for both models with the SE getting fabric seats and the Titanium model gets a full premium leather interior and enjoys 10 way powered front seats with lumbar support and 3 way driver memory seats. Both get the multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters. The SE gets the 4.2″ infotainment and the Titanium gets the gorgeous 8″ Colour Touchscreen shown in our photos and video. One of the great features of the Ford Fusion Ecoboost is Ford’s new Sync Media System with Voice Command that allows you to control your phone, audio and other functions by just using your voice. No need to take your hands off the wheel or eyes off the road to play music or answer calls.
